2 Cursos em Dublin

Entre os dias 02 e 08 de março três docentes da ESAG frequentaram cursos em Dublin, um sobre IA e outro para desenvolvimento da Língua Inglesa

AI-Powered Content Creation for Educators

Dia 1 - Icebreakers, presenting schools and countries, course expectations, etc. 

Day 2 -

Morning activities: Text generators (Chat GPT, Deepseek, Gemini, Grok), producing and sharing lesson-based materials, debate on the pros and cons of these models, class discussion.

Afternoon activities: Visit to Trinity College, listening to the ukulele, a typical Irish musical instrument  in a pub.

Day 3 -

Morning activities: Image Generators (Claude, Krea, Ideogram, Hailouai.video, Pika, Runway, Luma labs, Interactive scenes), producing and sharing lesson-based materials.

Afternoon activities: Irish dancing at school.

Day 4 -

Morning activities: Presentations using Access Point Interface (API); GAMMA.UP for PPT; how to work with Genie and Tripo (3D generators); Luma - dream machine (how to make a video from a text or an image) ; Suno and Udio (to generate original lyrics and different music styles; Notebook Language Tool (to make podcasts and videos). We learned how to be an agent and make an application using TLDraw.computer.

Afternoon activities: We went to Howth by train and visited some typical places.

Day 5 -

Morning activities: We learnt how to build an app from scratch using websites such as HTML, Websim and ClaudeAI; we worked with Face Mesh ( a code generator), Story Plotter and 11Labs, a voice generator (App) to do podcasts, audiobooks and storytelling; we received the course diploma and completed an online survey evaluating the course.

Afternoon activities: We went to  visit Powerscourt House and gardens and then treated ourselves to a typical British hot chocolate with scones while admiring the drizzling Irish weather.

English Language Course 
Elementary Level

Day 1 - Icebreakers, planning a day tour in Dublin, etc. 

Day 2 -

Morning activities: presentation, vocabulary on food, roleplay in a restaurant, prepositions of place

Afternoon activities: Visit to Trinity College

Day 3- Morning activities: Grammar: present simple, Roleplay at the hotel reception, interactive vocabulary group games.

Afternoon activities: Irish dancing at school.

Day 4 -

Morning activities: At school we did some activities to prepare the visit to The National Gallery. Then we went to the museum and while we were making the tour we had to do a Treasure Hunt.

Afternoon activities: We went to Howth by train and visited some typical places.

Day 5 - 

Morning activities: Exchanging experiences about the National Gallery and the paintings; the present simple and present perfect: rules and exercises; personality adjectives (describing classmates); receiving  the course diploma and completing an online survey evaluating the course.

Afternoon activities: Visit to Powerscourt and gardens.
