Mobilidade a Tolmin

Data:
28 fevereiro a 07 de março de 2023

From 28th February to 7th March 2023, we participated in a mobility to Slovenia, namely in a small village, Tolmin. There, students from Slovenia, Portugal and Iceland met and shared the results of their work. During this time in Tolmin, Slovenia, we were truly welcomed by the host families who accepted us a member of their own families, preparing us many traditional dishes like Kranjska, Potica and Kremna rezina. Throughout this mobility we were able to engage in several activities such as climbing a mountain and going to a very snowy mountain. We also learned about bees, their importance and the products we may get from bees, e.g., with the honey from the honeycombs we can do lollipops and soaps. We also improved our language skills, English and Slovenian as we learned some basic language functions and phrases such as “dobro jutro” which means “good morning” or “Ljubim te”, meaning “I love you”. We shared our research work and findings concerning traditional characters, we were taught about felting, and we visited a cemetery about the people who fought in the world war. We had a special day, when we went to the capital city, Ljubljana. There, we visited the House of the European Union, and we tried to answer a questionnaire, but as it was in Slovenian and not in English, our Slovenian friends helped us translate the questions. It was a very interesting visit as The House of the European Union had many interactive activities. On Saturday, our hosts joined all Erasmus students and teachers and took us to Bled, where we saw and visited a big lake with a church in the middle. We visited a castle and we did ice skating, too. On Sunday, we went bowling to Nova Gorica. The hardest parts were on the 28th of February and 1st of March, the two first days without our real parents and the 7th of March when there was too much crying at the airport, which proves to us that we created good relationships between Portuguese and Slovenian students. In short, this Erasmus mobility was very diverse, we gained much knowledge, we made many friends, and we developed new skills: language skills, interpersonal skills and life skills such as how to be independent of our real parents. by Diogo Cardoso, 11th H

Em Tolmin e na capital Ljubljana, os participantes puderam usufruir de visitas culturais, algumas das quais aqui ilustradas.
